Greeting to you all,

Having just come from the closing of Men’s #63 weekend I find myselfreflecting on the statements of a Pilgrim from the table of Silas. His remarkscentered on Apostolic Action and the call to this action he gained from theweekend. I believe we all remember that call from our own weekend experience.I can remember a drive to Indianapolis the Monday I began my fourth day andthe fire I had to express my belief in Jesus Christ.

Sometimes I begin to think we fade in our zeal and so, as is said to the Pilgrimsat our closings, we renew our weekends through you. We have a Women’sweekend coming up May 1. I would challenge all of you to remember that firestand help someone else to experience the same joy of knowing Christ moreclosely. In my last communication prior to the men’s weekend I spoke ofbearing fruit. I will repeat myself as this is exactly what we are to be about,bearing the fruit of Jesus Christ. This is His fruit because we are attaché to thevine and unable to bear fruit on our own.

Let me ask you to seek out the leaders of your community and invite them to theVdC weekend. We need all the help we can get and your role in this movementis important. Christ is counting on you and you, on whom do you count? As for me, I am counting on Him.
